Bruce Johnson is currently the chairman and CEO of Semanti as well as chairman of the Board of Directors of HeadCount Corporation (a retail traffic and conversion analysis company) and a director of TEC Edmonton (a technology commercialization joint venture between the University of Alberta and Edmonton Economic Development Corporation). In addition, Johnson is active in the angel investor community and advises a number of companies on strategy, organizational development and execution.

Johnson came to Intuit as a result of the acquisition of WinTax Software Corporation in 1992, a company which he co-founded.

Johnson has a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Computing Science, from the University of Alberta.
